There is a Fire in the Forest

The friends Hedgehog, Hare, Fox, Mole and Squirrel were talking quietly in the shade of the old alder tree when they saw a fire break out in the forest. And they fled… But, helped by the fox’s courage, they realized that they could not stand still waiting for the flames to destroy everything.

And they got to work: they called the dragonflies to fight the flames of the air, they recruited the moles to dig ditches in the earth, and they all fought the fire, in an effort of all was superanimal. After long and hard hours of fighting, the animals were exhausted, but they were happy because they saved the century-old tree and prevented the fire from spreading to the neighboring mountains.

But they did more: they sowed seeds and, little by little, the trees and shrubs germinated, grew, matured and presented all the animals with their tall and leafy crowns, making the forest a difficult picture to paint because it was so beautiful and colorful!
