by Maria da Conceição Vicente

If the Prince’s ball had taken place in the twenty-first century, would the Cinderella Cat have married him? How would we do today to find a true princess, would we use a pea like in Andersen’s tale?

Assuming that there are still those who are educated as if they were born in a golden cradle, are the princes and princesses of this century prepared to win fights and dragons as happens with the “paper characters” who populate the wonderful tales they know by heart?

If not, how will they be able to be happy ever after?

If so, what is the secret to learning to be happy?

With the six short stories included in this book, it is hoped to disturb readers, leading them to reflect to, certainly, conclude that the way of being in life has evolved and, after all, The tales are no longer of kings.
