These are the Memoirs of a Philosophical Kitten!

Linda is an energetic and determined kitten, full of dreams and projects. She’s still very young, but she already knows what she wants! She imagines a future in which she will be a dancer and a writer. And she knows it’s best to start preparing now. To be a dancer, she’s doing exercises and acrobatics. To be a writer, she writes. And she’s decided that, to get started, there’s nothing better than writing down her childhood memories.

The reader is invited to follow Linda’s story, told in the first person, from birth to four months of age. You’ll realize that this kitten didn’t have an easy childhood! Her mother was a street cat, so Linda and her siblings were exposed to all sorts of dangers and seemed destined for a difficult life in a constant struggle for survival. This kitten was the most fragile of the litter, and she hid a secret dislike inside her: she thought her brothers were much prettier than she was. What’s more, Linda seemed to attract all sorts of accidents!

What will happen to this kitten? Will she be able to overcome her difficulties, grow up and develop, and make her dreams come true?

This story is not a fairy tale. On the contrary, everything is very real. However, Linda’s words manage to involve us and draw us into a special universe, mixed with naivety, fantasy and optimism. We are invited to explore it with pleasure, guided by a sensitive, adventurous and very philosophical kitten who is trying to understand the world and live her life intensely.
