She was an independent Member of Parliament in the Municipal Assembly of the Porto City Council. She was on a Service Commission at Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto as responsible for the Communication and Social Entrepreneurship area. Advisor to the Board of Directors of Ongoing Strategy Investments and Director of several companies in the group with the areas of human resources and marketing. She was General Director of Controlinveste and responsible for the art galleries of Jornal de Notícias and Diário de Notícias. She held the position of deputy of the Assembly of the Republic in the IX legislature. She was Director of Human Resources at Finibanco. She was Director of Human Resources at Banco Totta e Açores. He taught at the Higher Institute of Administration and Management of Porto and at the same time practiced law.
