I love you – Poems to Cry to the Heart

From the beginning and by the title and subtitle – «poems to scream to the heart» –, this poetic collection is thematically inscribed in a universe dominated by emotions and, in particular, by love. Always in a register sustained by comparison and metaphor, often of naturalistic and spiritual inspiration, on paradox and on a very strong sensorialism, based, for example, on adjectives, the twenty-six poems gathered here give an account of the plurality of sensations and reactions triggered by the feeling of love or by the joys and sorrows, the doubts, the losses and the victories that it motivates.

Without chewing on words and concepts, in other words, without resorting to clichés, so common when fictionalizing the theme in question, these brief poetic texts sometimes praise subtlety, discretion, verbal restraint or contemplation, sometimes testify to a kind of “daring”, confessional courage, exaltation or exacerbation, in a certain way, reflected, for example, in titles such as “Fireship”, “Perdition”, “Earthquake”, “S.O.S.”, “Tsunami” or “Wound”.
