A WONDERFUL TIME
A year goes by quickly, the seasons seem to fly by... but in this book all the seasons of the year are prepared and longed for by all animals...
The Rooster who crows to welcome Spring and wakes up the whole Village, the Owl Grandmother who tries to calm the other animals, the Badgers doing their thing, etc. etc.
"A Wonderful Time is an allegory, a fabulation, which takes us back to the day to day of life, to the passage of time - lightly led by the four seasons - and to the difficulties that arise and the ways that are found to overcome them."

PAPER BIRDS
Satoru is a boy who lives in a village between the foot of Mount Fuji and a cursed forest - the Forest of Murmurs - of which countless frightening stories are told, full of labyrinths where entire armies had been lost there... Satoru learned from his great-grandmother the art of folding paper (ori kami), and what he liked to do most were the storks (Tsuru), a symbol of happiness and good luck. One day, Saturo was lured and entered the forest of the Murmurians. Satoru manages to get out due to the several Tsuru who will guide him out of the forest." Embark on this reading and live a surprising adventure with a child who will face his fears and survive to tell the tale."

DUSUKUN BELEBELEBA AND THE NECKLACE OF AFFECTION
(…) Dusukun Belebeleba was born with many weaknesses, in Africa, in Mali. This boy could be a boy like any other, but he wasn't! Dusukun Belebeleba was very slight, very fragile (his parents feared for his health, for his survival...), he had an intense and bright look and on his chest stood out the shape of a heart. It was big, this boy! When he was six years old, his mother became seriously ill, but before joining the little stars of the sky, she told him a secret and offered him a special necklace made of pearls. Each pearl represented an action greater than his heart—it was a necklace of affection. Griô, the chief of the tribe, knows that this boy has special gifts and his story leaves no one indifferent. This book recently won the Literary Prize - Between Words, in the children's category. Fair and deserved award. "Dusukun Belebeleba and the Necklace of Affection" a book that I recommend and will read to my students.

JOÃO'S HOUSE
Casa do João is a common house: João Manuel Ribeiro's who wrote the twelve poems and João Vaz de Carvalho's who (wonderfully) illustrated them." Personally I love this book. It is perfect for exploring at preschool ages, but also in the first cycle, when children begin to do their first autonomous readings. Poetry books allow children to play with language, expand their vocabulary and explore its various possibilities, through fun, rhythmic and rhyming texts, which open the horizons of the imagination and allow learning in a playful way. We love this fun book, also recommended by @pnl2027

LUNA'S MAGIC IN THE CITY OF FLOWERS
Luna's Magic in the City of Flowers" is a wonderful book with many levels of meaning.
The stories, the characters, the lesson of friendship and solidarity it contains, are of great richness and leave a feeling of warmth in the heart.
Luna, Foxy, Senhor Pancrácio, Dona Ermelinda, Fernando, Estrelinha and Cotton, remain in the memory, supported by all the other characters, even those who only briefly appear.
The book conveys an important message: love for animals can bring great richness and meaning to many sad and empty lives. The director of the home for the elderly changed her attitude towards Luna's presence, when she observed the positive effect exerted by the kitten on Mr. Abílio, who, until then, had never spoken to anyone.
In the same way, another character, Davina Mackay, materially wealthy but spiritually discontented and poor, transformed and enriched her life, due to the curiosity and interest that the information about hedgehogs aroused in her.
"The Magic of Luna" is a multifaceted story that provides us with immense pleasure and also immense opportunities for reflection.
